"Pinch to Awaken" Art Game as Performance and immersive installation for VR, with first-person perspective, avatar with full body tracking, and Alternative Controllers as wearable interfaces that use breathing as a means of navigation.
The storytelling is based on sound instructions that guide the user toward a conscious breathing. Said gesture modifies the space, allowing him to perceive his own breathing in real time and advance in the game.Â
I propose to rehearse strategies to explore the performative potential of VR, hence I wonder if performative art could be one of the elements of the language of immersive experience, as a way to rethink the staging of VR installations.
